Manim alternative

A Manim alternative, without code

Manim is a wonderful animation library, but every scene is a Python program and every change means a new render. Tracé gives you the same kind of moving maths in your browser: you click instead of coding, and you see the result straight away.

An equation revealed term by term while its curve moves closer to the dashed target

What you get without writing a line

Equations transforming term by term

Equations that transform, term by term

Write an equation like on a calculator and reveal it one term at a time. Shapes, equations and graphs glide and morph into each other from one slide to the next.

A live graph with sliders for its numbers

No render to wait for

What you see in the editor is the finished animation. Change a number and the graph, its labels and the moving point follow at once, even while you present.

A graph slide ready to be saved as a video

A video, or the Manim code

Turn the whole deck into an MP4 in your browser. Want to fine-tune it in Manim? Pro exports the Python script of your slides so you can keep going in code.

Tracé or Manim?

Choose Manim when

Questions

Is Tracé built on Manim?

No. Tracé draws its animations in the browser. If you want to continue in Manim, Pro can export a Python script of your deck.

Do I need to know Python?

No. Everything is done with clicks, and maths is typed like on a calculator.

Can I make videos for YouTube?

Yes. Any deck becomes an MP4 video in one click. Free videos carry a small Tracé badge; Pro removes it and lets you record your voice.

Is it free?

The editor and every animation are free. Pro adds advanced 3D, your voice, the Manim script and more online space.
